Romsdalsgondolen: all the beauty of Romsdal in one adventure
Following the tremendous success of the Loen Skylift, the Romsdalsgondolen in Åndalsnes opened on May 28, 2021. At 1,676 meters, it is the longest cable car in Norway and the first of its kind. It took thirteen months to construct the gondola and the accompanying viewpoint. The gondolas can accommodate 45 people and are also accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Litlefjellet, the hidden gem of Romsdal
Somewhere in Vengedalen lies a very well hidden gem. It’s dreamy, beautiful and fairylike and it’s called Litlefjellet (literally ‘small mountain’). Locals also call it ‘Romsdalseggen light’. Litlefjellet is my favorite spot in the entire area and getting their is fairly easy as well! Even though I’d rather keep this special place for myself, I can’t possibly keep this from you.
